St. Louis is celebrating the 100th birthday of native son, Vincent Price with displays of memorabilia, and festival of 20 of his horror flms, including my personal favorite "Theatre of Blood".

"Home Before Dark" on TCM USA April 11 2011 - Set Your Recorders!
"Home Before Dark" (1957) is on TCM USA April 11 2011 at 2:30PM EDT.
This movie used to be on TV all the time in the 70's, now it seems to be almost forgotten.
When Jean Simmons died, hardly anyone mentioned this movie, which has one of Simmons' best performances as a woman recently released from a mental hospital who comes home to face the same problems that caused her breakdown. There is a great supporting cast: Dan O'Herlihy as the stuffy conventional husband who just doesn't have the nerve to be honest with her or himself. Rhonda Fleming as the half sister laying in wait and Efrem Zimbalist Jr as the sympathetic friend.
Based on the eponymous novel by Eileen Bassing.
